It is no surprise and a long time coming…  Since Google purchased YouTube, the #1 video site in the world, there is no need for Google to support two major video sites.  The good news is Google will still support all videos which are currently uploaded along with management tools in the future.  If you haven't already uploaded your orthodontic marketing videos to Google video… get them up. You can still upload videos for another few months.  Why do I advise this?  Because Google loves to index its own video services and it is a hosting service, which will not be available in the future, for free.

I myself am guilty of the this.  My new mantra for 2009 is "Speed To Market" with my new products for Internet marketing.  Whenever I find myself paralyzed in a moment trying to make everything perfect, I am going to remind myself "sloppy success is better than perfect mediocrity."

My New Years Resolution is to be more consistent with my blogging on orthodontic marketing and continue updating everyone on the latest trends.  I keep driving home the point….The Internet is where it is all happening and video is the medium of choice.  Why?  Few orthodontic practices are taking advantage of this new window of opportunity.  The Internet and video is virgin marketing territory.  Just look around… how many orthodontic competitors in your area are taking advantage of video to engage new patients and direct them to contact their office for an appointment?
